You should ask the 1st resort how much to transfer to the 2nd resort. They likely will take you to the mainland dock, then you have to take a taxi to the dock for the other hotel as Conrad and Westin are on opposite sides of the main island. They might do a direct Conrad-Westin(or vice versa) boat but likely very expensive.

If they have four nights booked at the Conrad, it is probably better to ask the hotel with more money on the line.

I was only able to get 1 night here, would it be crazy to do 1 night here and 4 nights at the Conrad? The transfer times are only about 20 minutes right?
Early morning arrival. |
Just booked here for August 2026. Probably paid more than we should at 448k for 5 nights to get the 5th night free. We've been to Conrad twice and noticed the rooms here are much smaller but look more modern. Not expecting a whole lot after watching a few videos but I'm sure we will have a great time. Also scored flights there via AF and found 4 seats in J.

Quick question for the group here - originally booked 5 nights in the new year for 2 adults. Want to bring along a kid now but the room says max occupancy of 2. Has anyone had experience with the resort budging on this and allowing an extra?

I've heard they are very strict with the occupancy - i think families bringing kids usually end up going to other resorts or will have to book 2 rooms.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like they have any rooms that they allocate that are more than 2 person occupancy for redemption.

It’s a price hike for sure, but the st Regis looks to be able to accommodate three.

I know you posted this awhile ago, but we were running into the same issue. If I did the search one way starting with 3 people (2 adults and kid) it would only give me 2 bedrooms as an option, when I would start with 2 people get results and then try to add my son later it would add $6,000 to the price lol. I called the Westin Bora Bora and they said to book for 2 adults and then call them and they would add our son at no charge and also add our crib request. Hope this is true when we get there!

Hi,
been to Westin Bora Bora, returned 5days ago, been for 3 nights. booked with points. When booking via points, was unable to select any package containing food (breakfast, HB, FB etc.). Contacted hotel after booking prior arrival to clarify how to priceed, if being Marriot Gold (only, as my 2nd choice hotel brand program). Answer from hotel (ref. food): - unable to book breakfast or any other food.packages while using points; - no complimentary breakfast for Gold; - breakfast bufet fot 5500 XPF / person. This at the was as noted previously. Breakfast is exceptional. Ref accomodation itself: - No complimentary upgrade made comparing to what booked (overwater villa facing lagoon = backwards/side vs. Mt. Otemanu); - No upgrade even offered. Hope this helps. Just want to manage my expectations as will have a two year old with us and so we will be "nap trapped" in our bungalow daily from a few hours ha ha |
It will be interest to see! When we were making our reservation we were going between the St. Regis and Westin. We were leaning toward St. Regis to get a beach villa instead of OWB, but the reservations lady seemed to feel Westin would be a better for us . . .
