What are the current offers?
Is there a business version of this card?
Can I apply for this card and earn the bonus after doing so previously?
Once I meet the card's initial spending requirement, how soon will I receive my signup bonus points?
If I cancel my card after the annual free-night cert has posted, will I lose the cert?

Hi folks,
For those people who have had the card for a while, do the free night certificate appear in your Marriott account after the annual fee is charged? The annual fee posted to my CC a few days ago, I don't see the certificate. I'm waiting on it to book a hotel night, and I'm wondering if I should call up Chase or Marriott, or just wait another few days.
Thanks!

Does the 1 elite night per $3k spend reset annually or is it a rolling total as long as the account is open?
Edit - answered my own question. According to post #9 here it is a rolling total: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marri...questions.html

Certificate extension
Guys
Supposedly the chase 50k gives you a 1-night certificate after account opening and satisfaction of the spend
1) Are they usually lenient in extending the duration to use this beyond 6 months?
2) It's supposed to be redeemed within 6 months - does that mean you need the hotel room booked in 6 months or have to complete the stay within that period?
Thanks

there is an EXTENSIVE thread on this topic (next time FIRST use the search function).................
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marri...ture-card.html
in response to your question, to date the cert has been extendable ONCE, but with all the changes announced, or coming shortly, that's no guarantee that this practice will continue...........

I think we need a sticky on all the upcoming changes. Do you guys think even category 4, 5 will get devalued? Would reservations made in advance be affected or not?

The one I have doesnt include more elite nights for 3k spend as far as I can tell, or the free night.

I had a no-annual fee Chase Marriott card long ago (opened prior to 1998; I don't know if I received any promotion points -- just spend-based points) and closed in 2008. Can I apply for a new one and get the current promo?
Thanks.
Thanks.

They won't give you the free night but will give you the 50k. I closed my account in 2008. I recently applied but never got the free night. Only the 50k. When I emailed marriott they said it was because I got the cert in the past...actually 2007!!

Anyone know if the nights credit you get from the Marriott CCs count towards lifetime status?
