Trip update...
...property was barely 20% full.
Nice enuf beach, breakfast buffet OK.
Bad part it was 30C+ both days and they had no air conditioning!!
It was so hot the flowers they put in our room were dead (drooping actually) by morning.
At 2:30 AM I went to the front desk and complained.
Nothing they could do as this was their transition period.
Finally at 3:10 am night manager bangs on the door with a fan.
So for both nights suffered through an unbeleivably hot room, with slightly less hot public and restaurant areas.
I got an email from the service manager, (wasn't available when I checked out, was promised he would contact me, after a few days without a word, I emailed him).
They said they were giving me some points (unspecified amount) and nothing has posted as of yet.

Just an update...
...matter resolved to my full satisfaction today.
I just want to reiterate, outside of the a/c issue, I would go back to this property as long as the a/c was functional.
Nice pool, decent beach, good u/g, pleasant staff and an OK buffet brekkie.
A very pretty town (Alacati) is a 5 minute drive and a great place to eat and to walk around its very old streets.

Would you like to see the craziest rate you've ever seen at a hotel? Then check the Sheraton Cesme for Sep 11 to 12 for 1 night. $4,000USD for a standard room for one night on Booking.com! My imagination is running wild thinking about what I would get for this much money!!

So you can see the price more clearly! Just a standard room, nothing special. Um, hello?!?! Can you imagine?

Recently stayed here for 2 nights, had a sub-par stay at this property:
Positives:
- room had a nice view
- beach was decent / pier was nice (and not TOO crowded, was still able to find a lounge chair)
- breakfast area had a nice view
Negatives:
- room had a massive leak whenever the shower was used (basically caused a vent in the room to rain down into the inside hallway). Called guest services to fix, they came and "fixed it" in the morning after my first night. It wasn't fixed because the same thing happened in the afternoon after I got back from the beach, called them again, they came to "fix it". Still wasn't fully fixed when I got back from dinner, but the leaking became drops rather than rain.
- poor English besides the reception staff, there's no point in calling housekeeping, as they don't speak English. You have to call reception to get them to translate what you want. Similarly, a number of the staff members don't speak English very well.
- Made the Green choice, but they still came in and made the room. I always put the green choice hanger on the door as soon as I get in (so it wasn't that I put it out too late). Told staff at check out that I made the green choice, they said they would add it. Points still not posted. (will be calling about this later)

Any recent stays? A/C working now?
Hi guys/gals,
Staying here upcoming weekend and would like to know if the air conditioning system is now working. So any recent stays lately? Seems like the main theme of this property I read at TA and here is the malfunctioning A/C.
Also is it really 70 euros per way taxi from ADB? Any other cheaper alternative?
How's platinum upgrade benefits? Got a good brg rate of 110ish net/night with breakfast for 2 for deluxe sea view room. Would like to know if they'd upgrade Plats any more than that.
Thanks!
