401 Authorization Required..Again and again

Hello:

I have been dealing with being unable to access my Marriott for the past few months on and off. I have been traveling and thought perhaps there was incompatibility with my new laptop and Marriott or the wifi etc. This 401 error is now happening on my work computer. I use Dashlane as a password saver could this be causing this? I have cleared my cache on several occasions but it appears now my problem is spreading and no having access to making reservations is problematic. I have looked back and not found much on this issue? HELP.....Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. NYC

I've been unable to access my reservations for a week+ now on either the app or desktop site, which makes it increasingly difficult to do business with a hotel company! I've reached out to them and received a reply suggesting it might be my device and asking for more info. I provided more details, but since I'm having trouble on multiple devices, I suspect it's my account and not my device. Will probably be recruiting Lurker assistance soon if emails are unsuccessful.

Reading an article on how to provide feedback is not particularly helpful. There's my feedback. My app still doesn't work properly since merger. This is in different phones. Weird characters pop up where letters or characters are supposed to be on many pages of the app, most markedly the reservation one.

Oh, I have sent screenshots and called over 50 times. I have been told to clear cache.turn off or turn on VPN. Yada Yada.

3 phones and several years later, the gibberish on my app is still there. I rarely stay at Marriott now in part because of this failed CS and difficulty in booking.

When I do book, I literally go to an old 8 year old PC at home to book. I almozt never use my laptop anymore especially when traveling - just to book Marriott.

I just encountered the dreaded 401 error on Firefox, but using Chrome seemed to fix the issue.

What else is in the error message like a ray Id or refid , any screenshots?

It could be suspicious or excessive activity coming from your IP triggering a block. Or if you have ad blocker interfering with authentication component of the web site.

I get some kind of Gateway error from time to time - nothing works when it happens and it would last for a while. I can't remember if it was a 401 error. Next time it happens, I will post here...

I'm getting these 401 errors now.

And, no, I can't provide feedback about the website that way. If I click on the "Click here for the email contact form" link, I get the "401 Authorization Required" page.
