I had a 10 nights paid stay from the 16th (the day the promotion began) checked out on the 26th and so far 0 nights or points credited never mind the bonus ones.

Staff on reception always wonder why I queue up to checkout rather than just do it through the app until I explain why I always need to get a paper print out of my reservation 🙄.

Still missing points but that will eventually sort itself out
I am trying to write in to request the missing elite nights as well via https://www.marriott.com/marriott/contact.mi , but the Comments text field disappears when I select the topic "Marriott Bonvoy Account Assistance" or any other topic

When checking out at front desk I request email copy. Good to always have electronic copy of final bill.

Yes agreed, I spend hours a month sorting missing stays out.

Thank you for your support. I’m sure it can’t be easy for you.
I'm so tired of jumping through hoops for my points too.

I called right away after the stay posted without the bonus and they claimed that I had to wait ten days. So I did... Now they've created a ticket that'll take 7-10 days to fix the issue... (why waste my time when they could have simply done this the first time around?).

This reminds me of that penny scheme at InTech from Office Space. I'm sure some of these Software Engineers are racking in 1 point per stay from all of these "missing" or "incorrectly" posted stays and there's a Milton waiting to be sacked.

I don’t think there is any malice involved. Marriott has very poor IT and isn’t interested in fixing/upgrading it. I wonder if it was this bad prior to the merger.

Thank goodness for FT to help them identify all the issues and find work arounds!

Hope things change for the better. Marriott recently replaced it's chief information and digital officer. Outgoing Bruce Hoffmeister > Incoming Jim Scholefield

not to sound too negative, but the write up says February 2020... a year ago... so all he did was an app update?

Giving status extensions properly . Maybe give him last year as a freebie or warming up the chair, needs to show tremendous improvement this year.

Do the double elite nights count towards a status challenge?
Have a friend working on one and trying to decide how to plan out his travel.

Unfortunately no! At least not in the past and not in their T&C's, but stranger things have happened.
