Double points, starting with the second stay, from March 19 through June 4, plus an additional 500 points per weekend stay (Friday or Saturday, worldwide), starting with the first, for "Marriott Bonvoy US Card Members," which I assume includes both the Visa and Amex cards.

Yes. MR just wants to prevent people from separating the first night of a longer stay at one property in order to trigger the promotion. What MR wants you to do is find a dirt cheap MR hotel and book a night there to trigger the promo.

I did not see anyone mentioning this, but there's a piggyback promotion for US-Bonvoy credit card holders:
Yup - go the same error message. However, if you log out and log back in, you'll see that you are registered.
Yes.
- Earn Even More. Marriott Bonvoy U.S. Card Members earn an exclusive bonus of 500 additional points for weekend stays** — starting with the first stay.

Sue them? It is their program and they can do what they want with it, even close it down at any time. I don't understand why making the terms and conditions clear would make any difference.

Here's another sentence to ponder from the promotion T&Cs: "ExecuStay, Marriott Executive Apartments and Marriott Vacation ClubŪ owner-occupied weeks are not eligible for bonus points and nights spent while redeeming an award are not eligible for bonus points."
This would seem to suggest that Award nights do not qualify for bonus points, however, could qualify as one's first stay (as the definition of "stays" does not exclude award stays). Anyone else have a different take?

Thanks, I was seeing the error message when I clicked on "see details" for both the Double Take promotion, and my targeted offer promotion. But logging out and back in again, it looks like I'm registered for both and don't see the error messages anymore.

I thought it was fairly well established by now, that Marriott specifically traditionally excludes award stays from any sort of promotional qualification?
