Same experience. Have also noticed a much more granular delineation of room types, such that moving you from a standard room on the 5th floor to a standard room on the 8th floor is an "upgrade".

The excellent lounge on the 6th floor is great, lots of hot and cold food items available for breakfast and happy hour. Although alcohol was additional charge. Too bad this was only a 1 night stay. I will be back if in the area.
