Didn't expect hotel to close however some warning of labour disruption would have been appreciated so I could have made other arrangements. Oh and the hotel wanted to charge me the full rate even though the lounge was closed, so was fitness centre, no room service and restaurant only open for breakfast and no daily housekeeping. So yeah, a little heads up would have been nice.

Why would I get angry walking down Las Vegas strip when I know what to expect? LOL. The hotel in Rio... after an investigation several employees were fired for offering escort services and allowing "locals" entry to the property without registration.

Mine is also on order....
Oh this should be a good... Highlights are sure to include:
@ Rio - Complaint about escort services being advertised in a form of a business card left on my night table during turn down service
@ Montreal - Complaint of hotel operating during a labour strike with no advance notice - no executive lounge, no room service, fitness centre closed and housekeeping every other day. Oh and picketing employees yelling at me when I arrived.
@ Atlanta - Complaint of front desk manager who refused to accept that bonus bucks can be applied to LNF rates. (I miss those British Pounds BB Bucks)
@ Phuket - Complaint of hotel denying use of the entire beach because of a Thai Royal Family member (Princess)

I can't see what use that document is. To answer Cathay Dragon 66's question, there wasn't a single nice comment in 7500 pages, nor were there any bad comments. The closest I got was a mention that I requested that the resort fee be waived.
However, just about every interaction I had with Customer Service or the BRG team was in there.
Can you imagine scanning a document that size before a guest's arrival to see if they are a problem customer?

One of those things that as a consumer can only hurt you. Problem is the bias it could create about a customer if someone did take time to read it.
Example, let’s say someone plans to check in for 30 days or longer, then someone at the hotel may very well research it.

To be clear I have no problem with any sexual "transaction" between two consulting adults what I took issue with was the hotel should not be advertising this or any other illegal activity (as deemed by local authorities). The hotel in Rio wouldn't allow you to bring your own escort but they would be happy to arrange one for you.

LOL. I have absolutely travelled throughout SE Asia. Yeap, hotel bars are famous for "ladys" and lady boys of the night ... even 5-7 star hotels such as Le Meridien Bangkok

Somebody in the hotel is getting a payout somewhere for it. Nothing comes free.

Of course the hotel employees were getting paid. Fyi... the matter made the local news and several hotel employees were arrested, charged and fired.
Sex trafficking was one of the many charges laid.

The police were called and the guy was “questioned” by police. Of course nothing came of it and I’m sure the hotel slid the cop some RMB to make it go away.
Sometimes you have to accept the culture. Imagine someone in Pattaya complaining about bar girls lol.
I’d love to see what they wrote in that woman’s diary. “Keep on Low floor and away from other guest rooms or may complain about guests of men”. lmbo
