Another 50 points today for me and my wife.... So far between me and my wife, I only got 500 once. Otherwise, it's been 50 each

How is it self-evident? I did get it right by selecting the only one I had experience with, but it seems that could easily have been wrong.

Admittedly always a bit risky point to make. Not everyone's self-evident is the same

Play for myself and hubby often (but not all days). I have noticed that it does not matter if I answer the questions correctly or not. We both get the same thing (50 points or no points) regardless of answers to questions or which order the cards are flipped over. However, there was one day where I got 3000 and hubby got 50 and he is the one with status, not me.

I got it wrong and didn't think it was self-evident. I think the answer was Hong Kong? I might've picked Brussels. Forget what the other choice was.

I don't think getting it correct impacts whether you receive points or not.

Hong Kong is correct. There is no JW Marriott in either Brussels or whatever the other choice was (I also don't remember).
