I was not able to see other rooms than mine. I have gotten an Atelier Suite in the new part of the hotel with view to the Piazza Duca D'Aosta. Most of the interieur you can see on their homepage already so I haven't taken a lot of room photos. Sorry...

On the first day we have had lunch and dinner at the Restaurant Gallia. So we were also the first guests for lunch in this brand new restaurant 
The quality was very good.
The new chef is Enrico Fiorentini. He was the Executive Chef at the Il Canneto Restaurant at the Sheraton Malpensa before.

It was a soft opening called preview with the rooms on the first and the second floor. The restaurant Gallia and the bar on the basement are open. The rooftop bar and the restaurant at the seventh floor will be opened next year as you can also see at their homepage. The gym at the sixth floor has a nice view and seems to be well done at least for me. A nice detail are the glas roofs over the outside parking in front of the hotel if someone remember the problems with the birds...
There is also a part of the old staff. For me it was like coming home and in this sense I am at home.
My parking ticket has the number 001...
and the luggage ticket was number 0002.

Die Bar ist deutlich größer als früher und hell und freundlich eingerichtet.
Unsere Atelier Suite war nett eingerichtet und mit Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Das Bad dort verfügt unter anderem über Fußbodenheizung und auch über ein Dampfbad in der Duschkabine mit Chromotherapie.
Das Hotel verfügt über einen großzügigen Fitnessbereich im siebten Stock mit Tageslicht und Aussicht, welcher vom sechten Stock aus mit einem eigenen Aufzug zu erreichen ist.
Ich habe mich auf Anhieb wieder zuhause gefühlt, wie ehedem im alten Excelsior Gallia schon und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Aufenthalt hier.
