Between Neues Schloss and the Marriott, I would pick Neues Schloss due to the updated rooms, better beds, and better breakfast with a la carte options.

Sheraton or Kameha Grand
Flying out of ZRH at 11am on Easter Saturday, so instead of taking a super early train from Geneva I'm considering taking the train on Good Friday and visiting the city with my wife and 8 y.o. who don't know the place very well. I realize things might be VERY quiet on a holiday...
The Sheraton is CHF 50 more expensive than Kameha Grand. Considering ease of access to town/airport, breakfast and lounge access (Sheraton only), which one would you recommend?

Thanks for the input. Perhaps I should have pointed out we'll be traveling fairly light so not a struggle to take public transport - at least not enough to justify staying out by the airport at a premium. Also, the HR is CHF 100 more than Kameha, and no breakfast as I have no status.

The Sheraton involves a longer journey with obligatory changes from tram to s-bahn trains to get to and from the airport.

IME the HR rates are highly variable - I've saved quite a bit my last two stays by rebooking closer in.

Just did a quick overnight between flights at Kameha Grand and the tram connection to the airport is really convenient. With light luggage no problem at all. In this case would take it over the Sheraton.

With a 11am departure, there is zero need to stay near the airport, especially when coming in from Geneva by train.
Take a comfortable city hotel, ideally either next to HB (main station), Hardbrücke or Oerlikon, from where there are direct trains to the airport every couple minutes.

From the Sheraton, it's not too complicated but it does take 10-15 extra minutes to get to the airport. You can take the tram, 2 stops to Hardbrücke and from there, catch the trains to the airport.
From the Kameha, I would not take the tram to town.... even though it's non-stop to the center, it takes forever. I always take the tram to Oerlikon and from there, connect to a train, much faster and there are trains that can take you to different places in downtown Zurich too, if needed (Stadelhofen, Enge, Selnau, Wiedikon).

The 10 and 12 trains from one, the 11 from another stop. Hope this picture helps!
As someone mentioned upthread, given your arrival and departure, I also like the suggestion of staying downtown more, close to HB. I like the Kameha and have been treated well as an elite, but no lounge and not a lot of food options close by. That said, it's a short tram ride.
BTW: if you end up staying there, I suggest the ZVV app for the trams, It's super simple to buy tickets and provides real time information on arrivals and departures. I'm a huge fan of the tram system in Zurich.
