Accurate: It's Saturday and I'm there right now with a cold Stella. I should add that website says it's closed, even the times on the door claim it's closed weekend nights!

Not sure if this is already updated or not but The Algonquin's back room for Elite brekkie is now closed. Elites now given choice of continental brekkie in full service restaurant or credit toward the full menu for the price of the continental brekkie.

*Charge for additional guests beyond elite+1 & if so, what is the charge if known - $10 USD per additional guest
3) if the lounge is closed, if it's still room key accessible on the weekends for sodas/water -- unsure, however I saw that drinks are stored in a bucket of ice, not a refrigerator. I am guessing that drinks are not left out, when the lounge is closed

CL open for breakfast 7 days a week. Sat and Sun was like 7 to 11 or something. CL closed rest of weekend hours. Had a nice stay there this past weekend.

Breakfast buffet for CL-eligible guests in the Manhattan Steakhouse dinner restaurant space on level 39 from 6:00am-10:30am, seven days.
Lounge on level 36 is open 12:00noon to 12:00midnight. Happy hour from 6:00pm-8:00pm and dessert from 8:00pm to 10:00pm, seven days.
No computers in the lounge on 36, but there is open WiFi - that is verrrrry sloooooow.

Folks, THIS thread is to report about whether lounge is open or closed, if closed if brekkie is provided in the lounge or restaurant, etc. It's not for detailed reports and/or rants re: individual properties; those should go in the individual property threads where people who might be considering them for a stay will look for updates on particulars.
