Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9700/5.0.0.344 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/331)

Good timing! My card arrived on Monday and Apple released the new MacBook Pros on Tuesday!

I read the disclosure that came with the card and didn't see any info about any bonus points - the only bonus offer I have seen is the 11,000 offer that has been discussed earlier.

The T&C are not clear when the points will be posted. Your best bet is to call Amex and post their answer here for the rest of us.

Thanks!

OK I called - no, you do not have to wait 3 months. Provided as your first bill shows >$1000 in charges, AMEX will send 11,000 points (if you registered for that offer) to SPG.

Received email invite directly from SPG to apply. Applied same day and was conditionally approved (I have limited credit history in Canada) and when I called, they said that they will call me back (gave them my mobile).

They never did. Just called today and was told that the card was mailed on April 10 and it will take 7-10 business days by post. The CSR would not talk about the credit limit either.

Ironically also received the replacement MBNA cards to activate and will be asking my financial advisor whether cancelling the card would impact my credit or not. I am getting conflicting messages here on the board. Meh.

Are we sure that there are no charges for transferring points from one spouse account to another? If so, I will get hubby to apply as well so we can get the extra 11K.

I really hope it arrives soon since I have a business trip coming up and I am booked at the Westin and I am still on the 4X points bonus I think ... YEAH.

It was the same deal for the Aeroplan Amex. They'll send the bonus points on the next statement after the $1K spend. No fuss, no muss.

Earn double Starpoints when you use your Card at participating Starwood Hotels & Resorts and select Starwood retailers
