I will work on this on the next few days but most of the info is very old and outdated.

I have been using all of these the last 2 years and I will update what other people have started along with some tools on how to buy on multiple accounts if people want this info. This is just a quick first draft. I will clean up and add more details.

please dont .... up the work I will put into this. please message me and I can add more data and I have more buying groups that I can add
  1. Pointsmaker - pointsmaker.com - Notifies via email . You buy and upload tracking number - Payment comes pretty quick same day most often via echeck once item is checked in
  2. MYS Buying Group - mysbuyinggroup.com Notifies via email . You buy and upload tracking number - Payment comes pretty quick once item is checked in echeck
MYS has the most complaints of all, from very late payment to not receiving items. Many people have given up on MYS.
  3. USA Buying Group - usabuying.group same as others regarding loading the tracking number. slowest payment of all. alerts come via whatsapp and email and response time is medium to issues
  4. YRCW - app.yrcwtech.com same as others alertss comes via whatsapp - payments can be slow. response time to issues are pretty quick via communication thru wahtsapp to owner
  5. Buy For Me Retail - The best. buyformeretail.com deals are posted on page. offers sent thru email. payment sent ach when they are checked i
  6. EMB - embdeals.com same as above - a great one as well. alerts via whatsapp. payments can be requested same day and will arrive same day. lots of offers last amazon prime.
  7. EMB - From late 2021 through August 2022, Several reports of missing packages, more complaints than most of the other groups. Buyers Beware.
  8. TheDealBuyer - thedealbuyer.com - Seems to be very new to the game. Not using whatsapp, but Pushover to send deals.

There’s pros and cons with every group. I think MOD has just grown too fast and couldn’t keep up. I sold to them last year but quit this year when a lot of issues were being discussed in private groups. I do hope they turn things around.

Amazon tracking shows Package may be lost, no updates on the tracking in over a week. So I've reached out to Amazon and they tell me to talk to the fright forwarder (aka buyer group) with Screenshots and ask them to refund. I have never seen this before in the years of using BG. Anyone have any recommendations on what to do?

The new and improved Amazon. Not. All you can do is try again, do a chargeback and possibly get your Amazon account closed, or eat the loss.

Is this common with BG. I am new and wanted to do this as a part of MS.

I'd say it does not happen a lot, but is also not rare. It really depends on the item. I've found it happens more often with Amazon branded products (Nest, Ring, Echo). I probably run low seven figures annually and would say it happens 5% of the time.

Anybody doing FoxHound? A friend told me about them. It's a bit like a normal buying group, but they pay $20-$40 per order placed, which is way beyond the other buying groups I've seen.

Unlike buying groups, they don't actually want the products, they just want images of the product and its serial number for research purposes to counter counterfeiting. I end up with the product, which I always return for a full refund. This of course means I don't end up with any net spend, but it's still a great deal on its own.

You should keep the volume low so you aren't flagged as a "serial returner" by the merchant. They could ban you from future returns. If the merchant subscribes to The Retail Equation, other merchants could blackball you, too. That said, I'm still going to try it.

I'm new to BuyingGroup and mine were delivered a few days ago but nothing has been scanned either. Did they ended up getting scanned and if so when? Thanks!

Some places will shut you down for frequent returns.

Yea, that's the main limiting factor. I just do ~2 orders for Foxhound per month. I buy a lot of other stuff on Amazon and don't return much, so I think this keeps my return rate well below the threshold at which Amazon takes any kind of action. But of course theres no way for me to know that threshold until I've exceeded it.

Buyers for Points experience?

Anyone have experience with these guys? I did a test purchase of about $150 and requested payment 3 weeks ago. When I followed up, they said:

We've been experiencing delays. Your check may take a few more weeks.

Yeah, I've done ~$90k worth of sales with them. In my experience, they're definitely the slowest group to payout with a lag of ~4 weeks from date of request -- with the latest being the longest at ~6 weeks, but they've always paid out, and normally at that consistent rate of 4 weeks.
