Signing up to buy $1000 visa/mc gift cards
You can buy the $1000 cards on Simon's volume site. Their regular site only sells $500 cards.
If you're new, or haven't bought anything in a year, you need to register at https://www.simon.com/volume/register-consumer
As part of the registration process, you will have to go to a brick and mortar mall and buy at least $3000 in cards in person, as well as filling out some paperwork while there. After that, you can do everything online.
As of Nov 2020, Simon Mall Gift cards will only work for $99/swipe for money services at Walmart and many grocery chains.
$1000 gift cards are available indefinitely.

I just texted my rep about this after seeing the above post and she told me the 1ks are available starting next Wednesday until Aug 4th. 3.95 fee. !!!

I ask about the rep because yesterday I went by to pick up three cards and the girl worked sorta scoffed at having to pay a $4 activation fee on each one. She gave me the managers card and said they could get me a way lower fee.
I’m not sure if she thought I was actually trying to buy 100 cards or if this particular place offers discounts to those buying a few cards at a time.

I came in to buy visa cards today and the marketing manager said they’re testing the 1k cards starting this wed for 2 weeks.

My Simon mall reps have not heard anything
Southern California here. My mall reps tell me they haven't heard of 1k promo. What to do? Is this limited promo geographically? Anyone else from California heard of promo in their Simon mall?
