I don't believe this is accurate. FRs I've earned in Feb had expiration set to the end of April, the ones from March expire in the end of May.
Details from FR site; I believe MC offer falls under "Card-Linked Offers": |

Does this show up in the regular circulars? I don't see it in the Southern CT area.

Thanks, I have it now.

Easy free $15 in groceries today. This deal is an absolute no-brainer if you have a Mastercard for the next couple of days. For my $6 fee, I got $15 in free groceries, $15 in free gas and about $15 in JetBlue air travel.
If only it were scaleable (maybe it is, if you're more ambitious with FR and Giant accounts than I am). |

ETA: Although I was also a little embarrassed by holding up the line, waiting for manager key for override/approval. I usually purchase GCs at the customer service desk, no need to wait for key. |
Went to my local S&S last night to use the $15 off coupon on my wife's account and purchased a $500 VGC along with $15 in groceries. The CSR recognized me because I had been there multiple times last week purchasing VGC's during the 2x fuel points promo. She said they need my license to take down my info because I've purchased quite some VGC's in the last week. We had conversations last week regarding how fuel points system works so she knows I'm doing for the fuel points. They've never asked to take down my info before. I've had to show my license when purchasing, but that was it. Usually, buy $1.5k-$2k per trip during the promo for total of around $8k last week. Is this something I need to be concerned about?

sounds like some overzealous employees. I wouldn’t be concerned as there’s nothing wrong with what we’re doing. When I took my solo VGC to my favorite supermarket yesterday to unload (it's a block from the Giant), the courtesy desk lady was actually surprised that I only wanted one money order. That's when you know you're going in too much. :) In fairness, it's been a busy 10 days at Giant stocking up on gas. And this is all personal use. I can only imagine the "relationships" the heavy hitters develop. |

Plus intangible joy of seeing how close to $15 threshold you can get. I bought $500 gc & shopped only sale items, and also used an instore coupon ($1 on peanut butter). My pretax total, after $15 coupon, was $506.43. Mazel!

Got my total for groceries to 15.15 so my total was 506.10. I was at 14.99 so I bought one banana for .16 to bring it a little bit over.

Don't they take your DL info when you make a purchase or are you keeping your purchases under $2K to avoid this? I would think if you are avoiding the transaction report, that would be a big concern to them.

Yes, I would say it is something you should be concerned about. At my closest Giant the financial manager randomly decided I could only buy gift cards there every week or two. You are not doing anything wrong, and most likely nothing will come from it, but right or wrong, if a person in the store with power decides that they don't want to deal with you, then you are out of luck. Best policy is to try and keep a low profile, and disappear for a while if people are suspicious. Personally I think two trips with bigger spend is better than 4 or 5 of smaller amounts if your credit card allows.
