Payments for the 23rd and 24th received the messages 2-3 days beforehand, but 25th payment has yet to receive one.. wonder if they've fixed it now?

Not fixed yet. I tried to add a new Amex to the wallet (not tie it to a specific payment ). and it’s not letting me, giving them message that Amex isnt accepted

Has anyone tried to EFT to "Bank of America AFS" as a recipient?

Trying to see if I can send rent to this recipient via my landlord's BoA account.

So are we thinking that this is a deliberate blocking on Amex's part and not some unspecified "bug" as Plastiq seems to be implying?

Try it again. My Plastiq account manager can't help either.

So what's the next service we use?

I use it for spend/threshold and then switch off the AMEX. Will have to get more creative now.

I was just looking at my recent Amex activity. I have early oct plastiq payment of utilities, which should be kosher per Amex.

Amex prob didn’t like this and stuck them in the penalty box. At a minimum.

it depends on what your paying to. if your payee is a big company TIO might be an option for you... if its rent, im trying out radpad again. If none of those apply, then i think the only thing left is crytocurrencies... :\

My payment of the 15th listed as such:

PQ*Plastiq Bill Payment - San Francisco, CA

Same as the one the month prior. I know previously I would get two charges, one for the fee, and one for whatever the payment was (in my case, mortgage).

Good question. I chatted with them today and the person was adamant that this was a temporary situation and that they would be back to using AMEX soon.

Oh well......
