As recently as last month, I was able to link Vanilla (Bancorp) MCGC to Serve online to do an online debit load. Just tried now across multiple accounts and it throws a verification error. Looks like another avenue has shutdown.

Has there been a shutdown wave since the beginning of January? Thought they were coming every 3-4 months or so and we're nearing 6.

Everything I've ever done with my recently opened Serve (in gf's name) is shutdown-worthy. I'll be the first to know when the wave comes..

Amex loads still count towards min spend?

Does anyone know if online serve loads with amex issued CCs count towards min spend for bonuses. I've seen both yes and no to this. The sticky on this thread seems to say it still works but I've seen several blogs that say no. Can anyone verify this for me? I might just try it anyways and see if it works. I have a card with just a 2k min spend that I only have 1k left on. Thanks.

My experience is NO. Even the EDP load doesn't count as a purchase towards my 30 purchases goal.

Monthly load limits per card or account?

Have multiple serve cards and was under the impression that the 2500/day 5000/month limit was per card but recently had brand new serve not load with error code related to hitting monthly limits. Had loaded previous serve to full 5k limit before moving on to this one, so I can only assume the limit is per account regardless of specific card? If so what is the point of having multiple serves?

So when this one gets shut down, you have another to work with. Once you are shut down, you can't get more for that SSN. Having multiple to start with buys you more time.

I wish they had offered multiple a few years ago when I got shut down.

$10k total monthly load limit across all cards associated with your account (i.e. all cards tied to your SSN). You can load up 2 cards fully per month.

Benefit in having more because the belief is that a shutdown is on a per-card basis (though the idea of a monthly load limit tied to an account seems to suggest that they can monitor and act on a per-user basis as well).

I guess that's what was confusing to me. The across all accounts meaning all accounts and sub-accounts for a given card and/or login or across all your cards tied to SSN. My exact thoughts that if the limit is spread across all the cards you have then why would you thin that a shutdown wouldn't affect all cards as well instead of just the current one being used.

sub-accounts are unable to load.

Load OneVip at FD/DG with Vanillas?

I am somewhat new to Serve and wondering: would I be able to load Serve at FD and/or DG using a Vanilla visa? I know that WM doesn't accept them, but I don't recall seeing any DPs on whether they work at FD and DG. FWIW, I have success at both FD and DG over the last few weeks loading with Greenie VGC purchased at WM.

Transfers between Serve and BB?

Can we still do transfers to other people who have either a different Serve product; or between a BB to a Serve if the BB-holder also gets a Serve?
