I have three OneVIP Serve accounts and three separate online logins. Due to poor record keeping, I do not know which log in is for which card. Is there anyway to figure it out (besides loading each one with a different amount of $)?

Login online and download a statement, and the card number will be at the top right of the statement.

Has anyone who got shut down been able to get back in? I tried but never was able to

Can you do multiple swipes per load at Dollar General stores? Have a stack of OD $200 GCs to liquidate.
Anyone found a place to do free loads that accept gebits besides DG/WM? |

Apologies if this has been answered already, but the SoftCard version used to allow Credit Card loads from non American Express cards. Has this been changed? I keep getting an error message when trying to attach a card to my profile.

According to the WIKI, Softcard still takes non-Amex, but I have no idea how old that information is. As Mamiber said, most of Softcard has been shut down, so it wouldn't surprise me if you could still use cards already in SoftCard, but aren't allowed to add new cards even to an already existing account. What's the actual error message?
Every time I attempt to add a CC I get the following error message which is the standard message when adding a card fails: "Due to technical difficulties we are unable to process your request at the moment. Please try again at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience." |
Help liquidating temporary Serve card
I'm pretty new to MS (and points in general), but I'm trying to learn as fast as I can by reading the forums. Unfortunately, in my learning, I think I made a mistake with Serve cards after having not done enough reading on them.
Since the temporary cards have no fees when bought at CVS, I was treating them as gift cards and liquidating them after I bought the temporary cards with my credit cards. In the past couple weeks, I bought about 7 cards, I think I've been shut down (see below). I was able to liquidate 6 cards (either though bank transfer or through ATM withdraws, I closed each account after having done so,so I guess that's why I was able to do more than 5). In any case, I've still got this 7th card and I'm not sure how to liquidate it (other than, I guess, spending it on stuff, or maybe other gift cards). I'll try calling Serve again tomorrow morning, but they were pretty unhelpful the last couple times (blaming it on the "computer" and "the system"); they even went so far as to tell me to try in Internet Explorer (which basically makes dirt look young). Any ideas as to what I can do with this thing are appreciated. I also suppose I could ask a relative to sign up with it and then liquidate it fast, but I'm not sure if they're keeping tabs on this particular card now, as they keep asking me for verification (Driver's license) when I provided different details. Tried applying for a serve for my son (18 years old). He has good credit (~725) although only through authorized user cards. Rejected by serve, "Unfortunately we cannot approve you". Tried again from a PC (first was from a phone) thinking maybe it didn't like the address, but same error. Both emails have a card number (last four digits in them) so any chance this is some temporary issue on the amex side? Afraid to try using my name/SSN as I already have and don't want to get blocked by them.

Dipping my tow in the serve waters to start. Just got a serve card but one question I have is that I keep reading references to people keeping mutilple serve accounts. Is it advisable to space out these new account apps a certain amount? Ge them all at once? etc

In NYC area it is hard as heck to load Serves at DG or FD. Like 50% have started checking cards (debits/GCs), Serve (VIP for me), and DL (!) to make sure the name matches and (I presume) it doesn't mention GC on the debit. So the only way I've been able to proceed is with cards that look like normal debits and have my name, and use the GC # on the magstrip. Then, like 50% of the stores 'lost' the barcode card so I let them scan mine ... (then the machine is broken or they 'can't' load via debit). Good luck out there, maybe you can develop a good rapport with your nearest cashier and load x 5. I just do 1 per store.

Will add just this week I was able to sign up my son for a bluebird (Walmart version of Serve). I was then also able to sign myself up and my wife. We were all unable to sign up previously. Have not tempted fate enough yet to try another serve signup but likely will soon. So you may just need to wait until whatever block they have on you expires -- mine was about 2 months.

I'm having a similar issue (see previous post) but I think it's for too many accounts and/or suspicious activity (I'm a newb at this)

What happens if you get shutdown and you still have money in the account?
