Has anyone experienced a Metabank Visa VGC load to bluebird in WM not asking for a PIN but still load?. I was doing $200 load by splitting into 4X50. The first 2 asked for PIN, then next 2 didn't. I thought the transactions didn't go thru, but it did end up loading. Found it weird.

btw, I'm surprised you were able to do 5 swipes since the BB card is part of the 4 swipe rule? |

Yes, I noticed this when I loaded the $50 Live Referral VGC rebates from Regions Bank. I had 3 of these so I loaded $150 with $50 for each swipe, it didn't go to PIN screen with balance decreasing by $50 up to the last card. IOW, I didn't enter PIN for any of the cards. I've noticed this several times now.

Does anyone know if Serve verifies the name associated with the SSN for the account? I'm wondering if I can open additional Serves under my SO's SSN, but with my name on the account. That way I can deposit the money into my own checking account as the names need to match.

While the chance of discovery in our business is small bananas, I still think that if anything went off the rails for whatever reason, there could be consequences that are not worth risking for the minimal benefits of MS. |
Anyone know if the $1k monthly CC load limit is per Serve card or per CC/SSN?

Anyone try re-applying recently that was previously banned from many years ago?

Just to comment that Serve and BB are both technically banks and have to obey the banking laws of the US. The reason for SSNs and personal information is to prevent the illegal use of money such as money laundering. There are penal consequences for lying on bank applications such as providing false information. I therefore would never suggest to someone that they supply a false SSN or matching name to a bank application.

Loading cash from CC looks bad since Serve is more for the people who do not have CC and bank accounts. |

Anyone recently do Mastercard loading to Bluebird/Serve? I used to having no problem loading them with the "cancel" and " change payment" to "debit" method. But in the past week, it happened to me 4 times when I swipe my Master Gebit Card, the next screen does not show the "cancel" option. It goes straight to "Authorizing the transaction". And then I try to swipe again, still no "cancel" option. This happened to me at all 3 Walmart locations nearby. It does not seem to be that Master Gebit Card have been hard coded as "Credit Card" since I'm still able to do the "cancel" trick from time to time, either buying money orders or loading cards. Is this like a system glitch or something? Anyone else having the same experience?

It seems to me that you can load with mcgc as long as you beat the cashier on hitting enter. Some seem to hit it right after you swipe so make sure you are quick. Yesterday it seemed like the cashier could hit enter before I even swiped the card, but after I confirmed the amount .
