Well I used it at a restaurant on the Amex Small Business map and it did not trigger the typical Amex Offers email.. anyone else with datapoints?

I used both my cards at a restaurant, one to buy a gift card. Email for the meal came one or two days after; email for the gift card came later the same day.

Thanks, was just used to the emails coming instantly on most Amex Offers. As I recall in the past with SBS, sometimes if the vendor was on the map it didn't necessarily trigger the credit..

I also wonder if this is working the same way. Last year, I got the email (and credit) even if the merchant didn't show up on the ShopSmall map (such as a local restaurant).

But this year, I didn't get the emails so I searched the map and they no longer show up on the website map. Are they getting stricter?

Anyone else?

Add to this, I placed an order at three different restaurants that I found on the map, only to find out they don't take Amex. What gives?
