We can all kiss Paypal Mycash cards goodbye. I was thinking and i just remember i got an email saying "Coming soon PayPal CASH (powered by Green Dot @ the Register™, the makers of MoneyPakŪ)"

Basically they're going to get rid of the Mycash cards and you'd have to reload via the register. FUNNY ENOUGH, some of us just recently discovered that we can no longer buy or load GreenDot products with credit cards. Rite Aid registers are hardcoded not to accept the credit cards and they also don't accept debit cards for money orders.
It's over...That avenue will be closing soon..

Starting Sunday they are giving 5$ up rewards for purchasing 2 vanilla mastercard's. Any ideas how to use those rewards towards the activation fee?

That's not possible. Use it on general merchandise in the store.

Is there a limit per Rewards a/c?

TIA

Limit is two per account. In the past, getting a single $50 card qualified you for both rewards. I can double check this Sunday.

Would a single $500 also give the reward?

A $500 card worked great today. Got two $5 rewards when purchasing one $500 MC.

Is the max 2 5$ rewards per account?

2 per account, and one $500 VMC will trigger $10 in up+ rewards. The receipt says "spend $40 on vanilla MC and get $5 up+"......so I assume you could actually only spend 80 and get 10, but who here buys an $80 gc.....

I then tried to load my Emerald card, with a really low amount, but that didn't work either.

Did this ever work?

I tried loading my Emerald card once at RA too, it did not work.
