absolutely zero visa/mc/amex gift ards at the Miami office depot in doral. Interestingly its the same one that a well known blogger in the fall of 2012 posted about buying 500 visas there no problem. I asked and the manager shrugged and said "I dunno...the home office never sends us them to us anymore".

I still bought a $75 amazon card and got the free stamps and ink bold miles.

kinda pissed that there are zero cards here and the nearby walmarts ATM is broken all the time.

Visited Tustin store this a.m., and two others in the area. Got stamps at each one, but no $500 Visas. Store manager at Tustin did tell me that she understands they will be cash only for variable load cards, and reloadable cards.

Whole lot of nothing at the one by me. Asked the manager and he looked at me like I have two heads.

Could you at least identify the state so we can make some educated guesses if there is a chance they could be rolling these out nationwide?

Dropped by Office Depot in OC after work and they had just stocked several stacks of variable Vanilla Visa $500s. I bought 12, split among 2 Ink cards. I also saw the variable American Express cards. They were all well stocked. Hopefully, this will last past Monday.

Purchased 4 from my local office depot in the PDX area. The store was already running low on these variable load visa gift cards, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are all gone by the next time I go in...plenty of FT'ers in my area I guess.

If you're really interested in having it last, buying 12 isn't a good way to have it happen .
