Bluebird Load Limits:

Your account will be flagged upon first/second attempt. If blocked, call Account Protection Services at 1-800-660-2454 to clear it (9am-8pm EST, Mon-Fri).
The day currently resets around midnight Eastern/11pm Central/10pm Mountain/9pm Pacific.

Loading with debit card at Walmart
Self checkout does not work for loading.
Many Walmart stores are enforcing a rule against the use of gift cards when loading, even though the register and the MCE do not enforce. Do not make your prepaid debit cards visible. Show them a bank debit card if asked. Otherwise, you may be asked by management to never visit the MC again to load with gift cards.
Loads at register over $500 will sometimes trigger ID requirement. There is a limit of four swipes per transaction; this means your card plus three payments.
If your card doesn't say "debit" on the front, it isn't a debit card.
Please see http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/manuf...bit-cards.html for additional information on using prepaid debit cards.
Training a WM cashier:

For online bill pay
- You can pay the credit card that you used to buy reloads
- Error 1302 means that you have 1 pending payment the same amount as the one you just submitted. For example, 1000 bill pay to sapphire preferred from Friday and then on Saturday you submit another bill pay for 1000 to sapphire preferred, you will get this error.
- Tip: if using online bill pay to the same place multiple times, vary your amounts by $0.01 to make it easier to track since your confirmation number does not match the tracking number on your credit card statement

Training a WM cashier:
- If the WM cashier doesn't know how to load the card, advise them to enter "70" then press "action code".
- If you are using a temp card that doesn't have your name on it, you can swipe the card from your side of the terminal. The WM rep never has to touch any of your cards. The screen will say "enter account." That is your prompt to slide the card.
- The terminal will ask the WM employee if you are loading in multiples of $2000. Advise them to enter "no."
- Avoid saying gift card. Always refer to your card as a debit card.

new crap from BB
BB is really trying my patience. After I linked a bank account so I could transfer money out of blubird, i tried to do just that and got an error that I exceeded my balance. I tried to xfer 2000 and my account balance is 5500. so I call the usa help desk (India) the csr says there is a security flag on my account and gets me to a specialist. This guy says that they need to confirm my identity and there is no other way possible except for me to fax a copy of my SS card to them...I don't have a fax and find it hard to believe they need to see my SS card and cant have me repeat it over the phone. I cussed a little and asked for a supervisor and he said one would call me back in 24-48 hours after reviewing my account and listening to the recorded conversation. If I didnt have min spend coming up on a few cards I would tell them to kiss my a** and send me a check for the balance on my account. They seem to make it hard for you to get money out once you put it in. They wont let you write a check to yourself or your bank, they deny authorizing any check over $2000 without explanation (we tried twice and both were denied and nobody could tell us why) one check for $3000 was denied, so we wrote one for $1999 and one for $1001 which were instantly authorized online. They limit ATM withdrawals, and now they deny transfers out of BB to your linked bank account. No customer service and no reasonable explanations. Is Cartera running BB? I wonder if supervisor tells me nothing can be done if I can shut it down, get my money back and open a fresh one (which they can verify who I am a little more carefully when I apply if they wish) freezing the account months after I sign up claiming they are not sure I am me is bull****......I also didnt like the way they imposed new deposit limits without notice that were effective immediately. It didnt effect me, but it shows that they can change terms with no warning or recourse for the user.

If you tell them to close it out without verifying your info you will have a hard time getting that check sent to you .... without verifying your info.
One way or another you are going to have to verify.
Better do it now and still have the benefit of the account.
If you have access to a scanner you can use Faxzero.com to fax over the proof.
Good Luck

Had a mild BB BP scare yesterday. Sent in my mortgage payment on the 25th and it stated arrival by the 29th. On the 27th, sent in my HELOC payment to the same bank, also showed a 29th arrival date. Last night I logged in to see that the HELOC payment (the second payment I made) had been credited but the mortgage hadn't Luckily, checked again this morning and the mortgage had credited too. Both show a date of the 29th at the bank.

Paying Barclay (Frontier) card with BB?
Looking to pay the bill for my Frontier Airlines credit card via Bluebird.
Searching in Bluebird's list of payees, "Frontier" doesn't pull up anything related.
Searching on "Barclay" brings up one entry: "Barclays Bank Delaware" - but that's what I was using to pay my US Air card (also from Barclays) - but I believe that the mailing addresses for the US Air card is different from the address for the Frontier card.
Anyone here been successfully paying their Frontier card with Bluebird?
Thanks.

I have WF as well and i just put the account number associated with the mortgage. As its in the system, it gets thr in about 2 days. Keep in mind i always send my payment at least 10-12 days before. While i havent had a problem in 4 months, i still dont trust BB.

I'm trying to open a Bluebird account and they want:
Social Security Documentation (must clearly show full 9 digit Social Security Number). Choose 1 of the following options:
• Social Security Card, OR
• A Medicare insurance card
Plus…
• Picture ID:
· A valid driver’s license card OR
· A valid state issued ID card OR
· A valid United States Passport
Is this normal? I gotta dig around for my SS card now.

have anybody used their mail the check service? long time ago I remembered I saw somewhere that the memo function is not working. there is no memo associated even you input your notes like name or account number in that memo place when you initiate a mail check service. Is that fixed now or it's not as what i read? TY for any inputs!
