Do NOT let Rite-Aid scan the GoBank barcode. You will be charged, but your funds won't load. It is a PIA to get your funds back.
Want to stay active? Be sure to only load when your balance is at or close to 0. Continuing to load when you have funds in there seems to be a no no. Swipes are recommended, but there are folks active that don't swipe.
Lots of $200 loads can get you shutdown. GoBank does not like paying load fees on low denomination loads. Two $500 loads is better than five $200 loads.

americanindian (closed)- closed after 3 months today. had about 7.5k deposit each month, with lots of small value(<$20) purchases each month. liquidated mostly using bill pay.
rodsren (closed)- the dapperdon warned me. I was closed today after less than 5,500 or loaaing in less than 3 weeks (was going to try to keep it to 7,500 - 10,000 but didn't luck out.)
binnycode (closed, re-opened) - 7x $200 loads + 1x $700 load + 3x $500 over 2 days got me shut down. Called CSR and they re-opened my account, letting me know that "direct deposit would reduce my number of trips to walmart" lol!

I registered for an account earlier this week and was able to did the initial deposit with my bank debit card. I just tried loading ($200) using Chase GC and no go.

BTW, is 5 debit cards deposit per calendar months or per 30 days? I tried today, and I was told that I have 5 deposits already.

30 days, if you read the error message closely it indicates it's a 30-day rolling limits.

For those, who weren't able to make a first deposit yet - use MoneyPack instead. You can purchase one at WM for $1K for $4.64 fee and paying with debit or gc. When you use this MoneyPak for FIRST deposit, GoBank will refund a purchase fee ($4.95) for MoneyPak.

I applied for this on 3/9 and finally got the accepted yesterday.
After I tried to register, I got this error after the last step:

It said $200 max for the first deposit so I just need to buy $200 MoneyPack at WM? It's been pain to load the first deposit after trying gc with pin/wells fargo debit and both failed.

You mean physical moneypak card for $1k or just load from the moneycenter ATM? I couldn't find my local walmart selling moneypak, and can you split the payment to two $500 gc payments plus the fee?

1. The info that you provided them does't match with the info they got on your from third party verification sites
2. You have been banned by Greendot
