how? tried same day?

mine didnt work, tried $500 money order at post office, got declined. tried $498 and worked. took out $500 at another day at WF ATM , then did $10 grocery shopping and $100 cash back but declined.

just weird

Learn what the limits are and you will have your answer.

No, I didn't try the same day, because I think it's well-established that $1500 in one day is over the limit. Also, there really is no need to get that much out in the same day.

You said $1k appears to be the monthly limit. The limits for monthly/daily transactions are different, and I don't know why you think your daily limit is also your monthly limit.

Cashback and atm withdrawal or money order all at same day DIDN'T WORK

Do you mean 20+20 = 40 withdrawals?

This has been driving me crazy all morning and I still cannot figure this math out... Please can you explain??

In the above example brackets why are you adding the 2 sets of 25 $2.50 and 24 $2.00 withdrawals in the first AMEX case and then 2 sets of 20 $2.50 withdrawals for the second Wells Fargo Example? It almost seems like you mean 49 and 40 total withdrawals respectively
-- but then that doesn't make sense adding to 10k either... (??)

-- So please can you explain what you meant here?
It is the cost of using the ATM. One charged by the ATM owner and one charged by the card issuer. AMEX allows one free ATM withdrawal per month for free, so that is why you see 25 (charged by ATM owner) + 24 (charged by AMEX). I assumed an ATM withdrawal fee of $2.50 by the ATM owner.

Uhhh not $1500 in a day. I meant money order for $500 doesn't work. $500 atm withdrawal plus $100 store cash back at Store at same day doesn't work.

Perhaps we need to reiterate the T&Cs here:

The ATM withdrawal limit is $500.00 per day, $1,500.00 within any seven (7) day rolling period, and $5,000.00 within any thirty (30) day rolling period

you may use your Card with your PIN to make POS purchases of goods and services and obtain cash. The maximum purchase amount per transaction is $600.00

You may use your Card to pay bills over the telephone, Internet, or through preauthorized debits up to the amount of funds available through your Card, with a maximum purchase amount per transaction of $600.00

From the datapoints that have been shared in this thread, it seems as though money orders and/or cash back may also be counting against the ATM withdrawal limit(s).

Just curious, but have you read the T&C for the card?

No, it does not mean 49 and 40 withdrawals, it is 25 and 20 withdrawals.

OP is assuming the ATM charges a fee of $2.50 (as many do). The amex card charges $2 per withdrawal (first one free), WF card charges $2.50 per withdrawal. so you have ATM fee + card fee in the OP's math.

In post #295, you said "I meant the max cash you can get from it seems to be $1k a month." That is what I was addressing.

atm withdrawals, money orders and or cash backs, max monthly $1k, not $1k each

While I agree that it appears ATM/MO/CB are all being combined into the same limiters, I'm thinking the limits as stated in the T&C still apply as others have shared datapoints having withdrawn more than 1k in less than a month. What were your time frames of transactions attempts?

Personal Experience: My first load was only 1k so I had no problems withdrawing it all at an ATM over two separate $500 transactions.

$500 WITHDRAWAL in 2 days worked. $500 free atm withdrawal at WF plus $100 CB didn't work on same date. MO for $500 at post office at a separate date didn't work. Tried $498 and worked.

My question is how much time had passed between the 2 ATM WITHDRAWALS of $500 each ($1000) and the single $500 ATM WITHDRAWAL / $100 CB. If all of that was in a rolling 7 days then yes the CB wouldn't work because you'd be over the $1500 limit in a rolling 7 day period.

A $500 MO at the PO (or anylace else) isn't $500 to WF
