Holy cow! Regional AND Domestic closed for 3 months?! That's a long time!
I sat in their temporary domestic "golden lounge" the last time they renovated it back in 2014-2015 and it was nothing to shout about.

Generally no matter what terminal I transit in I like to visit the First lounge at the satellite terminal and enjoy some bubbles

I find the Regional lounge the better option vs the main (Int'l) Business Golden Lounge in the Satellite Building, which just seems to have more wear and tear and less maintenance... when are they planning to update that one? It's been a couple of years, no?
[EDIT]Interesting, the main Golden Lounge was updated in 2012... definitely has the feeling of being more than 5years old.
The main Golden Lounge, First Class side (to the right from the lounge entrance).

same re-opening date, might be indication of new lounge style launch ?
hopefully MH focuses on the F&B as well, things have been going from bad to worse since 2012.

Your information is always reliable, I wonder if they will just provide the same temporary spaces relying on existing other lounges or if there will be a space for F/OW Emeralds as well.

And if they think by magic, renovating the lounge will suddenly make them realize they:
-need to have a better variety of food/drink at the domestic lounge/regional lounge/international lounge
-need to upgrade the shower facilities
-Improve the comfort and experience within the lounges...
I reserve my judgement but...let's see what improvements happen.
But they really need to sort out the food issue. It's just shocking.

They don't look good because they don't maintain them well. It's the culture within MH.

Anyways, hopefully, they will set the bar high with the lounges after the renovations and realize not everyone eats meat or spicy food (domestic) and some people are vegetarians/vegans and they introduce some vege and tofu dishes as well as a better selection of cakes/breads and entertainment in the lounges.
I am sure they want to up their game and take things up to the next level to remain competitive and brave.
