Jim and I repaired in a suite at the Balmoral five years ago. The setting can’t be beat and there are downsides: lobby can be very crowded and noisy, furnishings are just a bit shabby, service although well meaning just not up to snuff. Our suite was impossibly weird (nooks and crannies) and we rather liked that.
