Not offering an arrival lounge for all F/C pax is still a clear disadvantage for TG and SQ.

I'm sure LH is happy to offer access by arriving TG and SQ pax under a similar arrangement they've made with UA and CO. ;)

Did I blow my access? I landed dmm-fra on a LH C ticket. I got a room at the Sheraton across the street (which was great btw), but I was never told I had access to the arrivals and was told upon landing I didn't. I checked this thread and it looks like I should have had access.

I'm also departing on UA F fra-iad and I didn't get into the LH first class lounge, i"m in the business class lounge which a star gold can get into. I have asked several times but everyone is saying sorry go to business lounge by A65. :td:

About the welcome lounge, yes u blew it, incoming C should have been allowed entry, I never used to have a problem with it. They scan the BP and u either get in or u don't.

About the business lounge, for flights to the US, There's only one lounge, the tower lounge, and that is a mix business/ senator lounge, so you don't really have a choice in that matter.

Yes, you should have had access to the Welcome Lounge on arrival. Who did you ask? Not on FT? :p

You should also have access to LH Senator Lounges which are designated as First Class Lounges for F pax on *A carriers. The nearest SEN lounge to your departure gate would have been near gate A26 which is in Schengen. You could have gone to the non-Schengen SEN lounge near B42 but it's not as convenient as the Tower Lounge (combined Business/Senator lounge) by A65.

Thanks for posting this - I am looking into flying YYZ-FRA on AC flying in Business Class, and am Star Gold. If I read this correctly, I would not be allowed access to the Welcome Arrivals lounge? Only UA and CO Business Class arrivals are allowed?

Correct. AC doesn't provide arrivals lounge service at FRA.

So... if I understand correctly... I, as SEN, and my wife, as FTL, could only bring one of our two kids with us?? Anybody have any experience with families?

LH gives access for the whole family, no problem with kids.
