Which route/airline did you book and which class?
MUC-SIN-MUC RT in SQ C
How many pax and how many award miles?
2 pax, 142.000miles/Person + 136,00Euro/person in taxes and fees
How many days/weeks/months did you book in advance?
~290days / End of October
Booked for mid of August 2024 for above 3weeks in Asia
Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
Yes, but only able to get award for 2persons, so had to book the 3rd. person with cash (around 3000Euro)
Other option would have been a flight from Italy with availibilty for 3persons, but had already a bad experience from Venice as connecting flight where the bags got lost and even couldnt be traced back at all and fought about compensation with Malaysia Airlines a long time. (Last carrier always responsible....)
Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
Yes via phone.
The guy was perfect, helpful and friendly and knew what he should do.
How often did you have to check/call until you got the seats?
Checked a day before booking which flightoption we prefer without knowing about availibilty and called only once.
After Reward Booking was done and confirmed, made the separate cash booking for the 3rd. Person. Ticket price went from around 2500Euro to 3000Euro after the Reward Booking has been confirmed/ticketed.

Yes, someone picked up the moment I had finished keying in my SEN number. He was rather slow and always put me on hold while checking/requesting things but the entire call took 12 minutes.
How often did you have to check/call until you got the seats?
First call, I knew I would get the SEN request WL thru if I called in.

Yes, however online only FRA-IAH was showing as available in O. PRN-GVA-FRA was not available either in X or I online. Waitlisted for two segments, while O was already confirmed. A few minutes after PNR was created, PRN-GVA-FRA segments confirmed in I.
Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
Yes. CCC picked up within a second and the entire process done within 2 minutes.

Booked via M&M webapp 4 months in advance.
Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
Yes, there was also availability on the day before. Checking availability on the webapp for departure dates +/- 1 month of my travel date, it seems that Sun and Mon are weekdays where it is more likely to get a C/F award on LH to SIN.
Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
Absolutely. Smooth as it was a revenue fare.

How many days/weeks/months did you book in advance?
11 months in advance, for travel to take place a few days after Xmas.
Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
Yes, exactly the day that I wanted.
Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
Sort of. Online there was availability in O for FRA-ORD and availability in I for the European segments. However, only I was available for PRN-ORD. Called LX CCC and asked to get FRA-ORD and add PRN-VIE-FRA segments. The system would not confirm O for FRA-ORD (despite being available) if PRN-FRA segments were added (married segments, I guess). LX agent did not know how to resolve. I then called LH HON who had the same issue, but constructed the entire itinerary and said something along the lines "I will call the other department to solve this". Within a minute, all was confirmed. This and other past experiences lead me to thinking that it's better calling LX CCC if there are some issues with LX flights and LH if the itinerary contains LH segments, as agents seem to be more knowledgeable how to solve issues with their respective airlines.

11 months in advance, for travel to take place a few days after Xmas.
Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
Yes, exactly the day that I wanted.
Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
Sort of. Online there was availability in O for FRA-ORD and availability in I for the European segments. However, only I was available for PRN-ORD. Called LX CCC and asked to get FRA-ORD and add PRN-VIE-FRA segments. The system would not confirm O for FRA-ORD (despite being available) if PRN-FRA segments were added (married segments, I guess). LX agent did not know how to resolve. I then called LH HON who had the same issue, but constructed the entire itinerary and said something along the lines "I will call the other department to solve this". Within a minute, all was confirmed. This and other past experiences lead me to thinking that it's better calling LX CCC if there are some issues with LX flights and LH if the itinerary contains LH segments, as agents seem to be more knowledgeable how to solve issues with their respective airlines.
