2) KUL-IST-FRA-GVA in I all TK except FRA-GVA with LX
How many pax and how many award miles?

No, the outbound flight had to be one day later due to no availability on the initial date.
Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
Online, kinda happy, I would have preferred being able to book the entire trip on a single PNR.
How often did you have to check/call until you got the seats?
Managed to get the seats after several trials on M&M, even now, it's on and off to view or change the seats.

Which route/airline did you book and which class?
FRA-JFK // JFK-MUC-FRA roundtrip in LH F (O)
How many pax and how many award miles?
1 pax: 182k miles + 589.38 EUR fees
How many days/weeks/months did you book in advance?
~3.5 months in advance
Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
almost, but was relatively flexible +/- 2 weeks and 4-6 night stay
Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
No, booked online. Was quite a pain. Normal roundtrip search did not show any availability for F awards. Then I searched one-way and found a few days with availability for the outbound flight, which could be stiched together with an inbound via MUC. Overall, it was a good 1.5 hours of playing around on a Sunday afternoon. In hindsight, I should have called M&M the next day.

checked online a few times before.

Since the adult travelling with the child is not SEN, only 25% was applied. If I was part of the trip, the 50% companion discount would have applied. Back in the day my kids got 25 and my wife 50% off when travelling with me, the system seeks out the adult to apply the 50%.

Which route/airline did you book and which class?
MUC FRA MCO // ORD FRA MUC (all in I class)
How many pax and how many award miles?
2 adults, 1 kid, 145k / 72.5k (adult) / 108.75k (kid) plus €176.37 fees per person
How many days/weeks/months did you book in advance?
6 months
Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
preferred dates - yes (we are depending on the fall school break in Bavaria), preferred route - no.
Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
Called SEN line and had to use SEN WL. Since jr. wants to fly 747s I tried to get routes that are operated by the QOTS. At the time of booking the outbound was operated by a 744, but has since then been switched to a 343. A SEN WL request MUC FRA MIA in I was rejected. I was hoping to get the return from MIA, which was scheduled to be operated by a 748 (but has since then been switched to a 744). Outbound was confirmed instantly via the WL, chose to return from ORD w/the 748 which was also confirmed immediately. Let's hope the 748 sticks. Booked a separate flight FLL-ORD on UA in Eco (refundable) for €135 to get us to ORD with a 10 hr layover to go to town. At the time of booking ORD was cheaper to reach from MCO/TPA/PBI/FLL/RSW on UA than NYC, WAS or IAH (with the last one having lost 747 service for the winter schedule).

All good. Called German SEN line, 14 min wait, requested WL for F and got the booking done in I with WL in F. That seems the way they prefer, so that the pax at least has a seat on the flight.

Which route/airline did you book and which class?
FRA -xVIE - MRU, MRU - FRA, LH (operated by Eurowings Discover) WL in C
How many pax and how many award miles?
2 PAX, 168.000 miles, incl 50% SEN companion award
How many days/weeks/months did you book in advance?
7 months
Have you been able to book your preferred dates of travel?
No, only WL available on any date
Were you happy with the award booking procedure (e.g. online/by phone)?
No. 2 calls with 30+ min waiting time each time just to get the booking (WL) made. First agent (English hotline) knew less about the possible routings than I did, and less about the rules... second agent (German hotline) was better trained. Both calls audio quality was atrocious and agents were obviously stressed and not very friendly. Overall not a nice experience.
How often did you have to check/call until you got the seats?
First call challenging, second call managed to make sure the WL was setup as I needed it.
