As if they knew there would be no queues at immigration.
I once had that at MIA too, arriving to a completely empty immigration hall. In fact, it was so empty that the pax in front of me just walked past the immigration booths before an agent arrived. The pax, of course, then was shouted at and reprimanded for illegally entering the US.

Since many years for HON in F, except during Covid “due to the situation”. Never a guaranteed service but happens most of the time. Not at LAX or EWR. Had it most regularly at JFK and MIA, also BOS and ORD. BOS only once though, other times nada.

This is what I'm seeing in the app for IAD, but it doesn't seem to match what has been reported in this thread. I'll be transferring in IAD, arriving on UA and departing in LH F. What can I expect on either end of that transfer as an F passenger? Anything?

Without having personal experience at IAD I can assure you it is extremely unlikely that you’ll be met at your incoming UA flight. You will need to make your own way to the lounge.

Some recent experiences:
ATH: HON in C (but F fare) ticket: In the crowded SEN lounge a table was reserved for me inlcuding a glass of wine. Clearly they were expecting me. Escor from the lounge to the deprting gate (LX to ZRH). Excellent and surpsising service
BKK: HON in F, arrived on LH connecting to TG C. Was met at the gate and driven to the lounge of choice. They recommended the Eva Air lounge. As I had never visited that lounge before I went there. No follow up from there, quite a walk to the (new) SAT terminal from where my connecting flight departed.
HKG: HON in F, arrived on CX C connecting to LX F. As always, was met with a buggy at my incoming CX flight and asked which lounge I'd like to be driven to. They even had the menu from the lounge on an Ipad so that I could see what was on offer that day. Before the flight, pick up from the lounge (SkyView) and escort to the departing LX gate.

those limos are the airport VIP arrivals that you can pre-book (for our family of 3, they proposed > 1000 USD so… no thank you)

JFK Arrival LX HON in F (only 4 pax in cabin, I was only status pax)
Absolutely unhelpful woman with sign for F/HON wearing a mask so big it almost covered her whole face, not wanting to stand within 2 metres of pax. Insisted they can’t help with immigration and never do, when I challenged and said they often do and I know how the process works, she just said she’ll only wait at the luggage belt. Useless, really she just came across as lazy and unhelpful, better to have no one there tbh!

PVG departure on LX189- HON in F:
-Personal escort (insisted on helping with hand luggage) through priority “health”, immigration and security check directly up to the CA First lounge. Lounge was mediocre, but quiet and fine for a short stay in the morning. Personal escort from lounge to boarding gate. Very helpful

A few weeks later after an LX F arrival, a different greeter escorted me to crew immigration.

May I ask what the current lounge situation is at HKG for LX F passengers? I‘m aware of the Plaza Premium First one (which is quite a step down compared to former times), but some posters have been mentioning the Sky Bar & Restaurant now? Is this official and what can one expect?
Asking as otherwise I might skip the Plaza Premium one and head to the Centurion section of the Amex lounge.
