So I’m sure we all have our own ‘opinions’ on Non Stop Dan, but at least he’s drawing attention to the bonkers situation with Allegris on the 747-8i. I’ve had a couple of friends now message me with a link to this video asking what’s going on.

Why is having two windows "magnificent"? You can't even look through both at the same time, and in any case I think most Y window seats have a view through two windows. I think whoever writes those seat and lounge descriptions is on some kind of drugs.

FYI: invitation-only launch event for A350 Allegris being held at LH Hangar Munich Airport this Thursday morning, to be followed by special inaugural flight MUC-FRA on Friday morning.

Last I heard from LH was that business would remain on the upper deck while bespoke Allegris 747 First suites (not the same as the A350/B777 suites) would be installed in the nose of the main deck.
