I said "over time", of course today is nowhere even near. And of course, LH is not exactly a trendsetter in the are of introducing new hardware...

I said before someplace, but why not repeat it...
When I started flying longhaul C in 2000, most airlines had a lie flat seat upfront with decent catering, a recliner class in the middle with OK catering and a coach class with ugly catering.
15 years on the F/C/Y of 2000 has replaced with C/E/Y, with the only difference that the C cabin remains huge (48-86 seats) and E is rather small.
I mentioned the above to the head of LH sales for Germany last week at the A359 party and it took him a while to understand but then he laughed and said I was right.
In the end the product follows the market demand...

Well, Munich currently has 16-17 A346, 8 A330 and two A350. Currently 15 A359 are earmarked for Lufthansa. Just 15-20 A350 in Munich would mean a severe cut in operation...?

Lufthansa has 25 359s on order. Note the LH 359 has 4 more total seats than the current LH 346... I don't see any severe cut in operation.

If you see the graphic in post #6 , they initially replaced A346 with A359 in LH alone, but unless OS gets some new aircraft (which they absolutely need as the B763 and B772 will nearly fall apart post 2022) from someplace else, some of the A350 need to go there. Also depriving MUC of smaller more nimble A330 would mean that they could not serve some markets.
Also the entire fleet discussion is more of a political sabre rattling from LH towards the pilots....
