More on topic however and more positively I am also a LGW fan so was pleased to see LGW gain a new airlines LH operating 2 daily flights to FRA. Now with Vietnam Airlines, Air China, Korean Air, Caribbean Airlines, Turkish Airlines, JAT and hopefully a few others coming aboard LGW is growing nicely .

Plus its also good as mentioned above German based travellers can connect at LGW on to VS flights to Las Vegas, Orlando etc

LH FRA-LGW

Condor fly to LAS from FRA and LH fly to MCO from FRA so I guess the route is for UK transferring onto flights ex LHR or just point to point. The route is doing well according to a friend in the industry.

yes but the direct flights are not always the cheapest

My friends in France who live in Paris are a good example. When they went on holiday to Thailand they flew BA CDG-LHR-BKK because it was much cheaper than the direct AF CDG-BKK. Also when they went to MCO on holiday they drove to LGW and flew Virgin because it was much cheaper than the AF direct from CDG. Of course these are French examples but I am guessing the situation could be the same in Germany etc.

Just after BE decided to pull SOU-FRA (that route lost out heavily after LH's introduction of the LGW service) as of 04SEPT. [Slightly OT: On the same date BE also pulls the HAM-BHX service after LH's commencement of service on that route in May).

I am surprised about FRA-NAP- does this mean LH group is no longer serving Napoli?? Napoli is actually quite a big market for longhaul travel (believe it or not).

Could it be possible that they will transfer it over to MUC

They did with CPT

Its because they are sulking over the FRA night ban

FRA-NAP 2 daily gone.
Crazy.

Lots of connections (thus destinations) are gone.

MUC has not the same capacity, particularly after the last ruthless cuts.

Bottom line, my "MY CHOICE" leg has gone with it.

Would be interesting to know if I could re-negotiate it with M&M.

I do believe in the terms and conditions of "My Choice" you are able to choose a new route if your route is cancelled. It probably won't help you a lot if you are based in Napoli though. I also found it strange to cut NAP given the amount of traffic there (maybe AZ it is getting it all back?? ha ha).
