To answer own Q; (sorry!)
From asking around it seems TAP may grant Servisair access as a *G passenger. But there is no actual *G lounge

I mean, why not? Gatwick is highly accessible from London and most important, it is not Heathrow

It might have also to do with the fact that Air Berlin and BA ties get closer with Air Berlin joining OneWorld.
Air Berlin serves Gatwick as far as I know and not Heathrow...

While we are discussing a new DE-UK route, can anybody explain why the following thread is in the BD forum?

Thanks for linking to that, quite excited about ABZ. It was impossible for me to get there from OTP on *A without 2 connections.

LH recommended before that I use LPJ when I complained about the double connection.

It will be E190 instead and you'll receive fewer HON miles.

Great news on LGW! I much prefer LGW to LHR- especially for anyone going south in the UK or into the city it is an excellent choice.

Can anyone remember if LH have served LGW before? And if so when?

I hope it is successful! I am very surprised - did not expect this at all.

I don't think they have ever served LGW before (definately not in the last 10 years), but they did experiment with Stanstead - it didn't last long.

During the 1990s I believe LH used to operate between LGW, FRA and TXL. But the routes were dropped. They only lasted a short while.

Is that what they use the new runway for in FRA? More connections to the UK ?
