According to the PDF, the M, H, O, T, E and L suites are all labeled "Penthouse Suites."

Found out today its the sky view suite with a conjoining room, I cant believe they tried to pass off this as a penthouse suite... One of my friends wants to keep it i wanna try and stay at the skylofts because the rates are already pretty good...

comment about Mandalay Bay 6/9-6/12

I stayed on the 18th floor, serviced by the 17+ elevator bank. Even though there are 8 elevators, the wait (to go up or down) was long, and the crowds were big also. To make things worse, people (with lots of young children) were monopolizing elevator space--they would bring on two swimming pools (4 foot in diameter). Baby carriages didn't make the situation any better either.
The casino (gambling area) was not heavily used.

Corral Suite @mandalay BAY COMP ONLY

I stayed at Mandalay bay and we were upgraded from a comped skyview with a conjoining to a Corral suite with 2 bedrooms and was probably 2000-2500 square feet... They told me it was only available to VIP players. So what i am wondering is with an average bet of 175 and 23 hours of play on a 4 days trip what kind of comps can i expect from other hotels... Any chance of getting a skyloft @ Mgm Maybe? Any other ideas i just wanna make sure im takin full advantage of the comps... thanks guys

Coral is NOT comp only. I was quoted $900 a night for July 4th weekend.

Did you stay during the week (Sun-Thrs, avoiding the weekend)? If so, your comp $ goes a lot further.

175 avg at Bellagio won't even get Penthouse, much less 2br. So Skylofts I'd assume would be totally out of the question. Stick to Mandalay, they seem to be treating you well.

I would guess you need to be north of $750/hand at blackjack to get into a Skyloft.

Im not sure that you would need to bet that much, maybe its because i play for so many hours each day, but i was quoted 965 a night for a 2 bedroom loft for a stay july 3rd-6th, which is a savings of 2k a night which i thought was pretty impressive... So instead we got the Corral suite comped again for the 4th of july weekend, with a possibility to an upgrade to a Z3 suite which is a 3 bedroom 2 story suite... We have been told if we dont get the Z3 this time we will get it for our next stay for sure... So none the less im pretty excited with what mandalay has been doing for me at a 160 average bet

Nice review. Currently debating to stay at theHotel or down the strip at The Wynn or Palazzo. Can anyone share spa experiences to compare between properties?

Thanks!

I have stayed at the hotel and been to the bathhouse - the spa is very, very nice. But in terms of overall wow factor, I don't think anything touches the Wynn-Encore.
