mandalay bay labor day weekend note
I was staying at MB for labor day weekend. There were lots of people all over the place; crowded elevators etc.--people all going to the "beach." But, the gambling area of the casino was "sparsely" populated.

Venetian and Harrahs were similar on Saturday and Sunday. Lots of Tao clubbers getting out early Sunday morning and some of them clearly wasted .

Mandalay Bay Autumn Delight Promo Code
I received a mailing for Mandalay Bay. Need to contact VIP Services (877.632.7503) to book. I don't really recall playing on their machines very much at all last year so I'm guessing one might be able to slip by if you have a MGM Players card.

I have styed at THE HOTEL at Mandalay Bay which is more of a botique hotel and is all suites. It is more modern and is comparable to a W Hotel.
The pool at Mandalay Bay is one of the best in Las Vegas.

I stayed there earlier in the spring and I really liked it. I got a great deal, and the service was a significant cut above the other hotels I've stayed at in Las Vegas.
And the view of the strip was amazing. The one caveat is that the distance is not annoying if you like walking, but if you want to go back and forth a lot from the center strip, it gets difficult.
We walked to the monorail at MGM and spent the day going up and down the strip, returning to the Mandalay Bay at night. I love the casino there, as well.
The buffet was great and not too crowded. I also liked the cafe-breakfast there and the Shark Reef (although I've now seen it three times which is enough for a lifetime).
Top notch hotel, IMO.
