Connecting from D gates to E gates, Re-clearing security
I have my wife connecting from a united flight to a Westjet flight, she has no checked bags.
My questions is, can she complete the connection airside or will she have to re-clear security at the e gates?
If I were to give her a inbound flight on Alaska, I'm assuming she would not have to re-clear security since Alaska and Westjet are both in the E gate, correct?
Thanks

I knew there was a tram, just didn't know where it would bring her.
I am assuming if she takes the elevator or escalator right where the tram drops her off at E, that it will take her upstairs to the E Gates?

Just for the record, all terminals and concourses at LAS are connected airside.
After taking the "Red Line" tram from D Gates (where UA operates) to T3-E Gates (where Westjet operates) and heading towards the automated exit doors to baggage claim, there are signs that indicate the elevators that go up to E Gates. Just don't go all the way out to baggage claim, obviously.

What gengar said, don't go out the doors, the escalator only comes down, but there is some signage to the elevators that can be used to access the gates in Terminal 3. I have done this before when wanting to use the Amex Lounge before departing on Jetblue.

When you take the train and arrive in terminal 3, the elevator will be on the left hand side. That's the only way to get upstairs without having to re-clear security.
