I don't see why my success in gambling should have any bearing on the tip I leave. I know that the word "karma" fits in here, but I don't buy it.
The question in my op was to equate my tip with a service the limo driver performed. If he had influenced my gambling activity directly, that would be a different story: if he said "machine #27 is hot go play it" (and I won) that would be different.
PS: I know I'll come off as a cheapskate, but I don't tip the payers (slot attendant and security guard who accompanies him) when I win a jackpot, since they had no influence in my winning the JP.
