DL Codeshare flight from ATL

DL Codeshare flight from ATL
I have a business trip to SE Asia in a few months and I will be flying Korean Air out of Atlanta. My ticket is a codeshare flight with a DL flight #(DL 7xxx). Normally, for codeshare flights, we check in with the operating carrier. Hence, I presume I would check-in with Korean Air, right? Also, is the Korean Air check in counter at ATL in the same location as the DL check in counter or are they located somewhere else such as in another terminal?

Also, you should get the Korean Air ticket reservation number and use that to select your seat on their website directly. Because it's a codeshare, sometimes seat selection on the delta website won't stick and be permanent.
