748 vs 773ER?

Flying out of the US and making a detour via SFO to experience the 747-800. I’ve been on every 747 type, except the SP.

On the way back, I have the choice between the 748 again, but with long layover and connecting via SFO, or a nonstop to my home airport via the 777-300ER.

Any thoughts for the flight back?

As an AvGeek I’d say always go for the 747-8. 1A might be a smaller suite but theres nothing like seeing infront of the plane thanks to the slighly angled windows.

If you have time constraints of any sorts or the layover is ridiculously long then don’t bother. I believe all US bound 777-300ER have the cosmo 2.0 suite anyway.

748 any day of the week, considering that JFK recently got old cabin 77W.
