Self-transfer at ICN
Hello,
I am planning to do self-transfer at ICN as I don't have time to apply for a tourist visa unfortunately
.
Just wondering if anyone has done self-transfer with QR at ICN before? Do they have a transfer desk that allows for air-side boarding pass issuance?
I will be travelling to ICN via a third party airline and not oneworld. Probably T'way or Korean Air.
Thanks a bunch!

As I said on your other thread on this topic my concern would more be trying to check in for the flight TO ICN. If that is your destination in the view of THAT airline, I assume they will require proof you CAN enter the country...I am unsure how much success you would have arguing about a separate booking OUT of Korea.

Id say its safe to say youll be denied boarding for the first flight. Tway or Korean wont want to carry you to ICN because as far as they are concerned you dont have onward travel (they wont care if youve got a QR ticket) and if something goes wrong like QR cancelling the flight then they are on the hook to deal with you (and any potential fines they could be charged).
