Does approval come via email, or do you need to proactively use the K-ETA status check page?

Initial email to confirm that you submitted the K-ETA and then another email to tell you that you've been approved.

Meanwhile, you should see the people posting all over who have been waiting like literally a month when their spouse who applied seconds before them got it in hours or less. They're literally fckd and missing flights and things.

Emails often go to Spam folder, this is an issue they mentioned on the K-ETA Notices section. So, check your spam folder. Or junk. And sometimes some people don't get anything. So you should check the website application status, too.

This was my case, got bupkus. Checked the website and downloaded it from there, seems to have been approved within 24 hours of submission.

K-ETA was approved within an hour. Didn't realize you can't fill in Q-CODE until 3 days before travelling though.
