ICN transit hotel?

Hi all,

i have an important question

currently flying IAH-LAX-ICN-SPN.
Got my boarding passes for IAH-LAX (UA) and LAX-ICN (TG). HOWEVER
bags only checked in to ICN. I am only in transit overnight though! and I have a booking at the airport transit hotel.
I was told I now need to go to immigration, get my bags and then leave the airport and RE-CHECK IN for the next morning.
How on earth can I do this??
Can I grab my bags and immediately re-check in at 7pm for a 850am flight the next morning?
I have liquids so could not only carry on.
My main concern is once I leave the transit area will I be screwed over and not allowed to check back in until the next morning and thus with no boarding pass, no way to get to my transit hotel (plus a bag full of liquids)
advice asap plz?

It is unlikely that TG will let you check the bags in 14 hours early. Why didn't you have them tagged all the way through to SPN?

There is a left luggage facility at ICN where you can leave your bags and then you can go back out again in the morning to check them in again.

What's the problem exactly? Seoul ICN is a very efficient airport and it won't be a big deal to have to check in again.

Most airlines don't allow bags to be checked more than 3-4 hours prior to the flight time. :-:

There is no need to go through immigration. The ICN transit hotel is in the secure area. http://www.airgardenhotel.com/englis...a_location.php. All you do is go through the transfer security screening. You would need to have your luggage tagged all the way to SPN.
