Correction. They started the first B772 and will retrofit BVU after that, while awaiting B772 certification. .

Booked AMS-MSP in Y way out in April 2025. It is on a 772 that shows Premium Comfort, but they are not marketing it on that route yet. As a Delta Gold, I was able to select 11C as an economy seat for free, what are the chances it sticks?

Hi, I am traveling on KL661 AMS-IAH on July 17. A330-300 is scheduled to operate this flight, but I was wondering what the chances are of an equipment swap to a type with the newer World Business Class? IAH used to get plenty of 787 and 777, but seems to have been more A330 lately.

It has come to my attention that KLM's virtual 3d tour of their cabins has been refreshed with the new J and W deployments (except, inexplicably, the 781) and is now available here: https://xr.klm.com/klm/

The virtual tour of the 777-200 on KLMs website shows a normal footwell. Others have also confirmed that unlike AF all the footwells are the same regardless if on a bulkhead or not.

Where have you seen the conflicting reports? Just curious, as I have not seen any report stating that KLM has different seats at the bulkhead. I personally will fly this plane on Aug 8th so can report back then if no one else has a personal report by then.

The only possible source for conflicting reports is that the older non-retrofitted cabin did have much larger footwells in the bulkhead rows, and this is the case for the a330s as well.
However, none of KLM's reverse-herringbone layouts have seats that differ depending on location.

anyone have any early data points on the service in the mini cabin on the new 777s? Some people like it because it is more intimate. Some complain that the crew forgets about you when you're back there. just curious if there's any anecdotes so far

787-10 Premium Comfort
We flew in row 14 (H,K) and 15 (A,C) for JFK<>AMS and I actually prefer row 15 a bit more since you still get full recline and there's a wall separating you from rest of economy, so no one to disturb behind you. Additionally, Row 14 only has 1 full window access vs 2 for the other 3 rows in this cabin

Also interested in recent reviews of the 777-300 seating. We were in the mini-cabin, rows 8-9K, but row 2 opened up and now I have us in 2A and 2K. It looks like there is a small galley at front of plane though. Is it noisy there?
