Can someone comfirm that Silverwing members will become Gold Elite (and I will receive a Gold Elite card soon), or will I be stuck at Silver Elite?

I have not yet seen my new KLM FD package as they arrived at my old home address. But I'd love to know what my new status is, if I will either become Blue plus or Silver elite. I used to fly quite often with KLM until last spring, and was a Silverwing the year before. Unfortunately the FD website still indicates Bluewing and not yet indicates the new status.
Probably I have to wait until I arrive the forwarded mail...

Or perhaps his first 20 segments were used to upgrade from Bluewing to Silverwing, and the remaining 30 segments weren't enough to reach Royalwing?

For what it's worth the FD helpdesk will tell you that all Silverwing members will become Gold Elite. Many here have been given the same assurance.

If you made 50 flights before July, shouldn't you have received a RW card after your 40th segment? Or was there a higher threshold for residents of the Netherlands?

For the Platinum Elite Card we need to make 90 segments a year, for the Gold Elite 60.

You are right, once you reached SW you had to start from scratch again, but you had a full year to do it. 60 segements therefore, at least for those living outside the Netherlands.
