FD miles on AF codeshare
Has anybody been able to collect FD miles for an AF codeshare flight (AF prefix) operated by another airline?
Not possible per KLM's website, but I got a different answer from AF.

The fact that the number can be entered means nothing. I have also had a check-in agent entering my AF number on a BE-coded BHX-BHD BE flight and, surprise surprise, points never posted.

Same for a dozen of MH domestic flights this April. Any check-in agent will gladly put in any number you ask them to. Miles just never post

Yep, I know the number means nothing. But it is quite annoying that they haven't clearly stated what is the policy with these AF codeshares and FD after the merger...seems that FD really lives up to its zero expectations, I am clad I don't have to use it as my primary FFP.

Q Can I earn FD Miles on Air France codeshare flights (not being AF/KLM codeshare flights)?
A It is only possible to earn Miles on Air France/KLM codeshared and operated flights. All other Air France codeshare flights are not eligible for mileage earning.

OK, sorry for missing that fact. If I may still complain a bit, this really isn't a full merger and integration of to airlines & FFPs, until this kind of "earning" is allowed...

This is not new...
You also cannot earn FD miles on NW-partners like Japan Airlines (JAL).
That you cannot earn FD miles on AF-partners is logical, as they are AF-partners, and not KL-partners. This will change when KL joins SkyTeam. Then you can earn FD miles on SkyTeam airlines as well (still not on exclusive AF-partners, if these exist).
