Not Atatürk. And as mentioned, the airport in question was a KL only destination (at least as long as I can remember).

Interesting thought but I cannot really find a match with Dutch airports including RTM where KLM once flew.....

Geographically much closer than the previous guesses, but not RTM (and also not in the NL).

The escalators are the problem 😀. While I recognize the carpet I do not recall a place where it is next to escalators and the outside window. Something to look out for during my next visit.
