VS still do have Y on top.

I hope I'll be able to put together an itinerary to JFK with VS 747 on one direction and KL 747 on another. So far I've been able to get one or the other on the cheap, but for both on one reservation, price jumps up a couple hundred euros for eco.

I will pledge to be on the last return to AMS on a KLM 747 as my first flight ever as a baby was on a KL747!

And prefer to be on seat 1A

I'll take upper deck on the outbound...

In related news, I am scheduled to be on the 747 to LAX Tuesday, but I am dreading an equipment change with the pick-up truck incident. Let's hope we don't get equipment swapped.

Just had another delightful flight, UD on the 747Combi to LAX.

Did anyone else see the word that KLM has to retire one 747 early because of agreements with Air France? What is that all about?

Hi all, I’m looking for a complete list of KLM 747-200 plane names. Anyone know where I could find this?

Thanks in advance!

Hey that's close to my first flight. I was 9 months old and my parents took me on a Pan Am 747-100 from JFK-LAX. Somewhere there's an adorable picture of me sitting in the hideously colored seat.

I've been looking to book a 747 flight (ex-YYZ) this coming year, and it looks like the KLM schedule changes that route to a 777 sometime in the spring. Is this an annual cycle for them or will it be a permanent change?

Given the pace at which KL is retiring its 747s, it may well be permanent.
